Aimee is one of Clint Barton (Hawkeye)’s neighbors in his apartment building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. She apparently lives there with her girlfriend, whose name has not been identified.
Aimee works as a bike messenger, and Clint once had her take his bow to Kate Bishop when he temporarily intended to leave town to protect his neighbors from the so-called “Tracksuit Draculas” mafia. Aimee also looks after Clint’s dog, Lucky, when he and Kate are both away, since she “knows how to feed him”.
Aimee was one several residents who stayed to help Hawkeye defend the building from an attack by the Tracksuit Draculas and their hired assassin known as The Clown. Aimee’s assigned task was to leave the building before the attack and get Clint’s car–which she then used as a weapon, to run down several of the gangsters and barricade the building entrance by crashing the car into into it. Aimee survived the battle, and was seen helping to clean up the mess afterward.
Aimee first appeared in Hawkeye #1 (2012) by Matt Fraction and David Aja – who are also the character’s creators.
