Holy Stan Lee! Talk about alliteration in that post title! Illustrator and comics creator Chad Sell has an idea for a comic about kids that he’s titled The Cardboard Kingdom. Sell describes it as a collection of comics about kids from a quiet neighborhood who “…gather together in homemade costumes cobbled together from cardboard. They play, they battle, they lose themselves in a wild imaginary world that they create and share with each other.” The idea sounds even more promising since he’s interested in featuring a diverse cast of kids and telling complex stories. And the reason why it’s being mentioned here is because Sell wants to collaborate with others! The submission period is open from today through June 15th.
