Phoebe Zeit-Geist is a comic strip that started to appear in the pages of the Evergreen Review magazine in 1965. We’re presenting the Marine Corpse chapter in the LGBT Comics Archive section because it features two gay characters, “Puff” Branigan and “Flit” Whittaker. Be warned though! They’re not at all flattering characters. Or are they and the strip a straight up satire? Check it out here!
