LGBTQA Previews May 2023 Part 1

The month of May almost looks like Pride month with over ten really tempting offerings from publishers! Look for the Color Of Always anthology (A Wave Blue World), Grand Slam Romance (Abrams), Gatsby, (AWA), the DC Book Of Pride by Jadzia Axelrod and Paulina Ganicheau (DK), a Teegan & Sara auto bio (First Second), Constellations (Hippo Park), 2 AM Eternal by Eric Kostiuk Williams (Secret Acres), Blessed Curse (Soaring Penguin), and Gryffen (Whatnot)! You’re not alone if you’re thinking about breaking your budget!

The cover art this month is from the cover art to a modern day queer adaptation of Gatsby by Jeremy Holt and Felipe Cunha. It was originally scheduled as a mini series and then AWA switched to a graphic novel format. I’ve read the first chapter and am excited to read the entire story.

There are lots more comics, manga, and graphic novels to look over too!

Looking for comics from DC, Marvel, Image, Dark Horse, and IDW? You’ll find them over here in part two.
