May sees the return of Milestone’s Blood Syndicate to the comics world. One of the prominent characters was a man named Fade and much of Fade’s personal struggles revolved around being closeted so I’m curious to discover Fade’s story in the new series. That’s Dexter Soy’s cover art up top. Melissa Capriglione’s Basil and Oregano from Dark Horse looks to be a delightful, queer YA story. Wyatt Kennedy and Luanna Vecchio’s Bolero wraps up. Eric Shanower illustrates the ancient Greek story of Iphigenia. America Chavez returns in the Thunderbolts mini along with trades for Dr Aphra, Eternals, She-Hulk, and more Reign of X. If I had to choose the single, gayest thing in Previews this month it would probably be David Talaski’s card stock variant cover for Nightwing #92.
