LGBTQA Previews May 2022 Part 1

May’s comics and books from indy publishers has lots of temptations! Gengoroh Tagame’s new graphic novel Our Colors is offered by Pantheon. Douji Tomita spins a half dozen BL stories zombie style in Boys of the Dead from Denpa. Archie Bongiovanni and A. Andrews tell a tale of a trio of time travel teenagers visiting New York City on that fateful day of June 28th, 1969 when the Stonewall Riots began. Look for that from First Second. At No Brow, Joris Bas Backer’s Kisses For Jet is a coming of gender story set right before Y2K. Gabriel Ebensperger’s Gay Giant memoir, published by Street Noise, paints a very relatable picture of what it was like to grow up gay in the 1990s.
