Closing out October’s Previews with the “big 5” publishers here! A few things stand out that are worth mentioning – at least in my humble opinion. Ruby Falls is a mystery by Ann Nocenti and Flavia Biondi edited by Karen Berger at Dark Horse. Biondi wrote and drew Generations, a graphic novel exploring a young Italian man coming to terms with his sexuality, his relationship, and his place in the family. Lion Forge published an English translation a couple years ago. Black Canary helms a new Birds of Prey crew with Huntress, Harley Quinn (she’s everywhere!), and Renee Montoya. Hellblazer returns in a special that sets up a new series not directly tied to the DCU proper. There’s also a new Locke & Key mini series starting. Rounding things out are first issues of a new Excalibur team and the new X-Men sans X in the title series Marauders.
