Several things stand out to me in this batch of November comics. There’s the first issue of Barbalien Red Planet by Tate Brombal and Gabriel Hernandez Walta that tells the origin of Black Hammer’s gay Martian. The mini was slated for release earlier this year but then, you know, things changed because of Covid. John Ridley’s The Other History of the DC Universe that was announced in 2018 and then killed will see the light of day! Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez’ s Locke & Key crosses over with DC’s Sandman! Kieron Gillen’s take on the Eternals starts too! Dazzler fans have the opportunity to pay out some big bucks for the second (last?) Marvel Masterworks collecting the rest of her series.
