Comics for too long have decided they can treat the queer community like shit. Comics are one of the greatest artistic mediums and an escape. Lately my escape has been turning into a hell as the big two and Marvel in particular treat the queer community like trash. Marvel and DC are where people enter the comics fandom and to allow for future generations to feel reflected in their heroes we need to change the big two. It’s not about us but the future of progress in all media that pulls from comics. If we can become represented more then the chances that people will grow up knowing they belong.

I want to brain storm ways we can fix the industry, get more queer comics, make our voices heard. Where do we go, what do we do. Do we #, do we go straight to the horses mouth or do we go after their mouth pieces?
