Glory is a cadet for the Alpha Flight program which is Earth’s first line of defense against extraterrestrial threats and is based on the Alpha Flight Space Station, under the command of Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel.
She is a gay Filipina teen who won the Stark Science Expo at the University of Manila. The child of two astrophysicists, Glory is a tech genius who built her own cybernetic legs after she lost her original legs in an accident. Her cybernetic legs are very strong, and give her increased speed and agility. They also contain rockets that allow her to fly, as well as concealed weapons systems including flamethrowers and guns.
Along with fellow recruits Dante and A’di, Glory’s first day on the Alpha Flight station was a baptism of fire as the station was cut off from Earth behind a powerful force field and a Chitauri invasion fleet attacked. Despite their youth and inexperience, Glory and her fellow cadets proved their worth fighting and problem-solving alongside the superheroes and other Alpha Flight crew. Glory continues to serve as a member of Captain Marvel’s crew.
