Escape From Pleasure Planet

Indie developer Luke Miller has today launched a combined Kickstarter and Greenlight campaign for Escape from Pleasure Planet, a gay-themed science-fiction adventure game and follow up to 2012’s My Ex-Boyfriend the Space Tyrant.

The game features character art by DC Comics and Dark Horse alumni, Joe Phillips.

Play as Captain Tycho Minogue, space adventurer, as he chases a dangerous (and dangerously handsome) criminal to Arcadia, the fabled Pleasure Planet. Arcadia is a resort where tourists — gay and straight, human and alien — spend their vacations living out their wildest fantasies.

Tycho discovers that beneath the perfect surface of this world not all is as it seems and that one man’s pleasure can quickly become another man’s pain. There are twists! A tale of love, mystery and adventure spread over five planets and a dozen light-years.

The game features:
• Artwork by award winning artist Joe Phillips
• An iconic story featuring a gay protagonist as the lead character
• A diverse and inclusive cast of characters
• Some contemporary social issues, such as gay marriage, poverty and lgbt rights around the world

Rewards available on Kickstarter include the opportunity to be part of the adventure as a character drawn by superstar artist Joe Phillips.

Escape from Pleasure Planet is currently on Kickstarter with a target of $5,000 AUD (Australian dollarydoos) and will be released for Windows/Mac/Linux via an online store and (hopefully) Steam.
