Dusty Ross is a hairdresser and wig specialist who is a friend of Patsy Walker (aka Hellcat) from her modelling days. Patsy brought Firestar to Dusty for help selecting a new hairstyle when she was undergoing chemo treatment for her breast cancer. The bright and bubbly Dusty was thrilled to meet Firestar, and presented her with a number of options he had prepared–a set of four wigs, each styled after one of the ladies from “Sex And The City”.
Ultimately Firestar decided to go in a different direction, and Dusty gave her a very short buzz cut, which he excitedly described as “Very Sinead. Very Sigourney. Very Demi.” Dusty declared that with her bold new look, she put the star in ‘Firestar’.
